HOW IT GOT STARTED

The Depfake Threat is a multimedia project about the consequences of deepfake technology being used to create deepfake porn. The 7-minute radio documentary talks to a victim, a UK based charity/helpline, and an expert in AI technology to try and cover the full scope of the issue from different perspectives. The documentary and blog aim to educate people on this phenomenon.
